Description
1920’s vintage Syroco Pressed Wood Ornate Cigarette box and ashtray, deeply molded flowers and scrolls. This is obviously a cigarette case for desk or coffee table, but it could also be used for cards or on the vanity, for trinkets. It measures 6-7/8″ x 4/3/4″ x 2 inches. This is in very good, one edge of the ashtray base was cracked 60 years ago (by me) and my Father’s hide glue repair is still intact. Syroco wood product pieces are extremely heavy for their size. This has always been in my house, it was my Father’s and he was born in 1904.
